We have been hit hard by COVID to where I was not able to give raises. We are slowly coming back but I am competing with all the government’s financial hand outs. How do I set a competitive salary to get someone interested which would mean increasing current staff (which they deserve) while working at 1/4 of our income.

The few that do show up for an interview then disappear after starting the CBC through HHS. Now I am getting all the way through an eligable to work letter and POOF no response. I am losing valuable time and possibly missing that recruit that really wants to work with these great kiddos. What is happening to ethics?!?! - Would it really be so hard to return a call or even a simple "never mind" text. :'-(
